SouthWest NY, the latest in a string of restaurants launched by Abraham Merchant & Richard Cohn, consists of 13,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor dining space at the World Financial Center in downtown New York City.

The waterfront space on the marina provides indoor and outdoor seating for more than 600, an open/vision kitchen, bar and cafe area, retail shop specializing in prepared food, baked products, a meeting room and a large table for communal dining.

SouthWest NY is a moderately priced restaurant featuring contemporary southwest cuisine. Chef Frederick Kieffer joins Southwest NY as the Executive Chef. Mr. Kieffer's last appointment before joining SWNY was Windows on the World's Executive Banquet chef. He spent six years in Paris and gained experience at some of the finest establishments in France, later to come to New York as Executive Chef of Potel & Chabot's Tentation, The American Museum of National History and the Rainbow Room. Chef Kieffer brings a wealth of experience and an impressive culinary pedigree.

The high energy atmosphere, chic bar serving 50 different margaritas, along with a moderately priced menu make this a perfect place for every occasion.
